According to Condo Vultures, sales at newly-constructed South Beach condos doubled to 31 units in the second quarter of 2010, compared to the first quarter of 2010. The sales for these South Beach condos occurred at three projects, The W South Beach, North Tower at the Continuum II and the Mondrian.
There are 18 other Miami real estate condo projects that are newly-constructed or that have been constructed since 2003 and still have unsold developer units. This means that 76 percent of the 5,600 new condos in Miami built since 2003 have been sold. Miami real estate, specifically South Beach’s high-end market, has been a popular source of all-cash activity lately.
