Donald Trump’s Sunny Isles Beach hotel will have to carry itself..
The Sunny Isles Beach Resort, 390 room, oceanfront hotel was until recently the Trump International Sonesta Beach Resort. However, the Sonesta officially canceled its management agreement with the property's owners, Dezer Properties, after the Boston hotel company's attempt to buy out Dezer failed, earlier this week.
The Miami hotel will now operate as the Trump International Beach Resort and be part of the Leading Hotels of the World reservation system. Dezer Properties signed a licensing deal with Trump to brand the Miami condo-hotel, which opened in 2003.
