Miami Homes, Analyzing Waterfront Miami Home Sales
The chart below is a break down of the waterfront Miami homes that have been sold, in the areas from South Beach to Golden Beach, since the beginning of the year. This information was gathered from The Realtor Association of Miami-Dade County and based on transactions that were conducted through its realtors.
There were a total of 187 Miami homes sold since January 1st, 2008 and within those home sales 27 homes were located on the waters of Biscayne Bay or the Intercoastal Waterways. Out of those 27 waterfront Miami homes almost 70% of them were located in Miami Beach and on the Venetian Islands.
These waterfront Miami homes ranged in price from $1 million $18.5 million with an average asking price of $4.2 million and sat on the market for an average of 214 days.

The statistics below were gathered from areas: 12, 22, 32 and 42 which includes the areas of Golden Beach, Sunny Isles and the areas from South Beach up to North Miami Beach.
